I've had younger siblings my whole life, and have been taking care of them for quite a long time before they had moved with my father. I sincerely love children, and have extreme patience. I am also a child at heart, and will have just as much energy as them. although i do not have my own car, getting hired will help me afford a car within the future!! I had worked as a Day Camp Counselor at a Park District! i was also a Summer Camp Counselor.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

coloring, playing video games, painting, playing with toys, playing with sensory toys, building legos, dress up, watching movies, building tents, etc.!! :)

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being their safe space, i believe that is the number one thing. Not just for the children, but for the parents as well. Having that healthy relationship with the parents alone is such a positive reenforcing feeling! Kids need to live and learn, and as a nanny we need to be there to support that in the best way that we can. (To an extent, hopefully it's nothing extreme haha!)

My experience with special needs children...

I had taken 2 classes in high school where i had worked with children who has special needs, as well as the park district, there were a few kids there who also had special needs. My cousin also has special needs. i am very calm, collected, and i know how to handle a "melt down" or when a child is struggling to communicate verbally.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When it was during the summer and these two boys i had babysat were playing in the backyard, and we all had a water balloon fight, and we ate ice cream after. and soon after they had a nice nap!
