A little bit about me

Hello friends! I am Jatziri currently a college student majoring in DMS (OBGYN ultrasound) I grew up in a big house hold with my own brother having autism and 5 of my nieces and nephews also having autism or Down syndrome and ADHD included. My whole life I’ve learned to be super patient and loving with them. Recently my mom needed a little helping because she takes care of all them herself, I started taking them to school, going to parks, doing homework, cooking fun meals and etc. I am now doing caregiver for a little boy of autism who I love so much! I want to help out those mommies who want rest, want to have fun, or even need a break. I love creating new memories with my little besties.

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable and cared for. It’s about building trust with both the kids and the parents, being reliable and responsible, and bringing patience, creativity, and positive energy each day. A nanny isn’t just there to supervise but they play an important role in helping children grow, learn, and feel secure while also supporting the family’s needs.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a lot of experience caring for children with special needs. I’ve helped take care of my younger brother since he was 4 years old (he’s now 17) and would often take him to his therapy sessions and CHOC appointments. I’ve also supported my mom with babysitting my nephews and nieces who have autism, and I’ve learned patience, creativity, and different ways to engage with them. In addition, I have a cousin with Down syndrome, and even though he doesn’t speak, I always found ways to connect and communicate with him. These experiences have taught me compassion, understanding, and how to create a safe and supportive environment for kids of all abilities.
