Hi! I'm Jaycie! I am currently a student at GCU studying Sociology with an emphasis in Social Work! I have always had a heart for kids and have babysat since I was 11! This year I hope to build my nanny experience as I will be going the online route for school and would love to spend my free time nannying! I have worked with kids of all ages, multiples, and large families. I have younger siblings and a niece of my own that I love to care for, so there's plenty of experience! I try to encourage activities and play that stray away from tablets and television ( I grew up playing outside and using my imagination and had still had a blast)!

I am constantly on Pinterest, looking for fun entertaining and educational activities for little ones! I love getting crafty! Give me some construction paper and crayons and I'll come up with something fun!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making the kids feel like they aren't at a loss when it comes to their parent not being there, while also making the parent feel at ease with their child being with a different caregiver. Children should be comfortable with their caregiver, so it's a must that there is an actual relationship/bond formed that creates memories and experiences!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I cared for a sweet pair of twin girls going into kindergarten and got to jumpstart their learning over the summer! We did lots of educational crafts every day, so getting to see their progress with learning how to write their names, alphabet, and learning the sounds of letters was exciting! It was a joy to see them get excited over what we were going to do next and to look forward to learning!
