A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Jayda and I grew up in the lovely city of South Pasadena. I have a passion for music, singing particularly, and soccer. I worked for many years in my younger ages as a nanny babysitting children from ages 4 months the 13 years old. After being a nanny I switched into working for the South Pasadena Unified School District as an after school counselor. I worked there for about 3 year with classes from pre-k to 6th grade. I was in charge of preparing a daily plan full of fun, active and educational activities for the kids while protecting the safety of each and every one of my students. I unfortunately had to leave due to limited hours and limited pay not providing a livable income. I have been working in the service industry which has taught me a lot of qualities such as fast paced thinking, catering to someones' needs and always keeping a positive spirt, but I am ready for change and miss working with children truly.
