Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have nannied for two years. The first family I nannied for has 2 wonderful boys, 2 and 5 years old and I stayed with them for one year. The second family I nannied for has an amazing 6 year old, he is an extremely gifted kid who has autism. I was with them for one year. Personally I have lived with my sister and have helped care for my niece since she’s was 5 months old and she is now 18 months old.

My experience with special needs children...

For one year I cared for a 5 year old (turned 6) who has autism. He is extremely intelligent and due to some problems he had I school, during my time with him I had the pleasure of homeschooling him for 5 months, where I cared for him from 10-6:30 every day.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have so many favorite memories with all the kids I have nannied, it’s very hard to choose but I think some of my favorite moments are when the kids always ask me not to leave or to stay longer because it means I did my job and it makes me so happy that I am able to fill there day with so much joy.
