As a nanny i value fun over everything, of course in a safe and nurturing environment, but kids should be able to be kids and enjoy their day, especially since being away from their parents can be so rough. They should feel happy.

My favorite nanny moment was when my girls got tired of eating inside so we decided to have a picnic. They brought their mac and cheese out for lunch and we sat on a little blanket. They were so happy and after we finished eating we laid down and relaxed under the sun, as the girls told me about their likes as well as their dislikes and what a nice day they were having. It truly made me happy.
