A little bit about me

I have been in the early childhood development/education field for the past 8 years. I started working with family friends doing nannying duties for their kiddos and soon after landed a long term job at a preschool as an assistant teacher and loved it so much, I decided to further my education and practice, eventually holding a position as a lead teacher. Every day, I look forward to seeing what the children can accomplish! I loves how they grow and develop right before my eyes! When I’m not spending my days being a big kid with the children in my class, I like to read, travel, crafts, exercise, cook & spend time with my family! Caretaking has my heart in many different ways and I absolutely admire everything about providing a helping hand for families.

My experience with special needs children vary from very moderate to extreme. I have worked with an interdisciplinary team members to evaluate children’s progress and recommend appropriate learning plans. Nurturing a supportive learning environment was always a success in my cases while working with kiddos that need a little extra help and/or support.
