One time, me and my nephews were having dinner at a friends with some big dogs and one of the dogs snapped at my little 6 year old and him and his 11 year old brother come running to me. They told me they were so scared. i sat there and comforted them for a bit. made my heart hurt to see them so scared, but made me over the moon that they could confide in me.
