A little bit about me

I am a 36 year-old SAHM of four children ages 8, 5, almost 4, and 2. We homeschool, but we use a very hands on, story reading, creative and hands on approach. Our day is flexibly structured with meals, snacks, art, play, quiet time, and lots of educational fun. I am looking to include another child into our day to supplement our income. We spend a lot of time reading together, crafting, building, and exploring outside.

I am CPR and First Aid certified. We have been a foster care provider for 6 years, so I have done extensive training to that end. I work hard to incorporate positive reinforcement, allow natural consequences where appropriate, model appropriate emotions and responses, redirect inappropriate behavior, and allow for cool down periods when necessary.
