I am currently studying to be a teacher and I have assisted teachers in their classrooms with helping groups of students math, helping students write essays, working one on one with students reading books, helping teachers keep track of students progress, and zipping up their jackers for recess and opening their juice/milk box. The grades of the classrooms that I assisted in where 2nd, 4th, 6th and 7th graders.

I think the most important part of being a nanny is being nurturing to adapt to the childs needs to ensure that the child feels very happy and safe while their parents are away. I also think personally relating to the parents situation is important because when I was growing up I was left in the care of babysitters while my dad worked so I feel like my upbringing gives me insight to the child and parents I'd nanny for as my family went through it.
