A little bit about me

Hi, I'm Jenn. I have one daughter she just turned 13. I love spending my time with her as much as possible. I currently work as an assistant preschool teacher for infants. Most of my kiddos are aged 7months to 18 months. I love what I do, that age group is really fun to work with, they grow so much during that short amount of time! Its just amazing. I'm great with infants(including newborns) and love toddlers! I can also handle the bigger kids, if needed. I am CPR certified, SAFE SLEEP certified, food safety certified, background check cleared and I have my own home and vehicle. I have numerous referrals from families I sit for in and outside of school hours.. Also willing to help with before and after school care. I'm just ready for a different opportunity, I would like to get out of the corporate world. And hopefully one day soon, open my own in home daycare service. Until then I hope you choose me! Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love taking the kiddos outside no matter what the age. Fresh air is always good. Of course, while doing so, I create a safe and age appropriate setting for all children.

Bubbles are always fun!

"Dance parties" we just play age appropriate music and dance our cares away. Most kids love music!

I also love doing sensory activities with the Littles. Its great for building their fine motor skills. Like sensory bins filled with loose parts. Blocks to stack.

Reading books to them.

Going on short walks together.

Having fun "water" days where we play outside on nice days with water some how. Sprinklers, splash pad, water squirt bottles, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Would be having the trust and strong relationship with not only the child your caring for but also their family as well. I think communication is the key to any successful relationship. I try to keep open mind when learning about families and their routines they have in place that works for them. I've learned it is very important to know that every child is different. Everyone learns, grows and experiences things at different times and thats okay!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My absolute favorite moments of my day is when they, literally, Leap from their parents arms to yours during morning drop-off. Its heart melting! As a parent myself, I know how hard it can be dropping your baby off to someone who's not related. So it is such an honor to be apart of that family away home. I strive to give the utmost suburb childcare, as if they were my very own children. I take pride in the work that I do! After all these kids will be our future leaders in the world. Its up to us to guide them and show them kindness!
