A little bit about me

I am a mom of three boys ages 4,5,17. I work a full time job for the state, but have a huge interest in caring for infants. It was always my dream to finish college and become a midwife. I have settled on the idea of being a postpartum doula. I know how difficult and precious those early days can be and would love to help support families in these challenging but rewarding times. Growing up i always loved to be in the nursery at the church holding and caring for the babies. I was a caregiver for the elderly, and worked in children’s salons as a hairdresser. Prior to my current position with serving the community at dshs, I was an ffn provider for dcyf caring for children. I have lots of lactation experience from what I have been through with my three children and can provide some advice. Looking for weekends or week day nights to help out.
