More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have extensive experience caring for children in both private and educational settings. As a full-time nanny for multiple families, I provided personalized care, guided children through developmental milestones, and created engaging learning activities. My role as a preschool teacher and floater assistant allowed me to support young children in structured classroom environments, ensuring their safety, emotional well-being, and early education. Additionally, my volunteer work in a daycare setting reinforced my ability to nurture and supervise children in group settings while maintaining a safe and engaging atmosphere.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy reading books, singing songs, and doing sensory play with children to help them learn and grow. Outdoor activities like going to the park and having playdates are also a favorite because they encourage movement and social skills. I love arts and crafts, storytelling, and puzzles since they let kids be creative and think in new ways. I also like keeping a routine with fun learning games and healthy meals to help build good habits.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me the most about being a nanny is building a strong, trusting bond with the child and their family. I want the children I care for to feel safe, loved, and supported as they grow and learn. Watching them reach milestones, develop new skills, and gain confidence brings me so much joy. Knowing that I can make a positive impact on their early years and create a nurturing environment means everything to me.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when the little boy I cared for took his first steps. We had been practicing for weeks, holding his hands and encouraging him to stand on his own. One afternoon, while playing with his favorite stuffed animal, he suddenly let go of the couch and took three wobbly steps toward me with the biggest smile on his face. His excitement and pride in himself were contagious, and I couldn’t stop cheering. Moments like that remind me how special it is to be part of a child’s growth and milestones.
