I have been taking care of my siblings all my life. So when I turned twelve I began to babysit. I have watched all different kinds of kids and ages. It varied from 8 year old autistic boy to an infant baby girl. As I got older becoming a nanny only seemed natural. My first nanny job was with a family with 4 children a 10 year old girl, a 9 year old boy, a 5 year old girl, and a 4 year old boy. It was a great time in my life. It ended because the eldest was finally old enough to take care of her siblings. The next job I had was with twin baby girls. I loved it, all the pink. Then both grandmothers decided to live with them. My most recent was a precious baby boy. I loved it so much but he and his family moved away. It wasn't a live-in situation. If you have any more question about my experience don't be afraid to ask

As a freshmen in college in 2005, I began babysitting for a family with two young boys. Their ages were 6 and 2. I was not with them for very long (I only babysat them a number of times) because the parents were struggling financially. The amount the family was able to pay was not substantial for the distance I had drive and the amount of hours I had to work for them. The second family I babysat for I was with from 2006-2008. I became a babysitter for the family through a sitting agency that my own grandmother worked for. The family has two children, one boy who was 1 year old and a girl who was 4 years old when I started caring for them. I watched the children grow up. I did everything from driving them to soccer practice, watching their soccer practice, cooking them dinner, driving and chaperoning them at birthday parties and putting them to bed. The second family, that I mentioned just above, would many times have their children's friends over or family over that I would also babysit along with the two children. I babysat around 7-10 children for a Christmas party they had as well. That is the most children I have taken care of at one time.

My mother took care of babies in our home as I was growing up I helped whenever possible I have two younger sisters Hannah, Allison I worked at thewhen I was in high school I have a daughter Ashlyn who was premature born at 24 weeks gestation. I have a son Hayden that was born 15 months after my daughter I have three stepchildren Brittany, Bianca, and Alexis who I have helped to raise for the past six years. I helped raise three young girls Hailey, Heather, and Hillary and still see them often I have taken care of Zach and Kathryn periodically for three years and until March of 2004 I have taken care of Damian from the time he was 6weeks old to 6 months old when he moved to Louisiana and again periodically when he returned to Houston I have cared for Cecilia from the time she was born until present I have years of experience as a nanny, I love my job. Working with children harmoniously is a gift I happen to be blessed with. I have chosen a line of work that I adore, am skilled and experienced in.

I started watching children at a the young age of 11. I am a person with good morals, and high standards, which is reflected in the way I treat the children. In the past I took care of a family with a girl and boy. I would watch them from 4pm-10pm weekdays, and some saturdays from 9am-5pm. I watched these children from ages 1-8 for the boy, and 3-11 for the girl. I always have fun activities planned, crafts, science projects, cooking classes, games...etc. I always read books, and keep to the parents schedule on routines. In the past I have also gone on outings to muesuems, zoos, plays at the theatre, pottery barns, malls, play grounds, theme parks. I have enjoyed getting to know each child on a personal level and doing things that involve their interests, and keeping them motivated and learning new things.

For two and a half years (2009 -2012) I worked as a direct therapist with children with developmental disorders and autism, with ages ranging from 2 years old to adulthood, in a classroom-like setting. My work was to help increase life skills of the client and build independence. I did potty training, planned and executed lesson plans, social activities, and individual activities, and also supervised in lunch, and playtime interactions. For approximately three years I did nanny work prior to working as a therapist. Part of my routine with both children involved homework, cooking meals, bedtime routines, attention to medical needs, school events, play dates and other extracurricular activities.
