A little bit about me

I’m a 19-year-old student at UCI, where I’m studying Criminology and Child Development. I’ve been a nanny for two years and, as the big sister to two younger brothers, I’m used to busy days filled with energy, games, and routines. Working with children is something I truly enjoy—I love creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment where kids can be themselves and grow with confidence. Whether it’s helping with homework, organizing creative activities, or keeping a consistent routine, I always focus on patience, kindness, and open communication. I take pride in being dependable, understanding, and someone children feel comfortable around. Every day with kids reminds me how rewarding it is to see them laugh, learn, and grow.

More About Me

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy engaging children in activities that are both fun and educational. Some of my favorites include reading together, doing arts and crafts projects, playing outdoors, working on puzzles or other learning games, baking simple treats, and encouraging imaginative play such as storytelling. I like to create a balance of activities that keep kids entertained while also supporting their growth, creativity, and learning.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children feel cared for and valued. It’s not just about supervising them, but also building trust, encouraging their growth, and being a positive role model. A good nanny balances responsibility with fun, so kids feel both protected and inspired.

Emma S. - Seeking Work in Los Angeles

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Los Angeles, CA: Emma S.

Hello! My name is Emma and I am from Brooklyn NY! I have a BFA in Acting and recently moved to LA to explore the art scene.

Before moving I had several childcare jobs including babysitting (8 years, kids 1.5-8) and coaching gymnastics to 4-7 year olds. I also speak Spanish which allowed me to work with bilingual kids. My most recent job was as a full time nanny to a wonderful 3 year old! We would go to swim classes, museums, the park, and play dates! My approach to guiding her was rooted in patience and play. Watching her grow has been such a pleasure.

I am looking for a regular nannying position caring for 1-2 children! I look forward to working with you and your family to create a supportive network for your kid(s)!

Josie T. - Seeking Work in Los Angeles

Babysitter Available in Los Angeles, CA: Josie T.

I'm Josie! I just moved to LA to pursue an MFA at ArtCenter College of Design, and am excited to work with kids while in school!

I have experience working one-on-one with kids ages 2-12, and spent two summers leading backcountry canoe trips with kids ages 8-14. During my time as a camp counselor and canoe trip guide I was a certified lifeguard, so your kids will be safe with me at the playground and pool. I also spend most of my time painting and crafting and would love to share that with your kids!

I'm available or date nights, after school pick up, and all-day care. I can't wait to meet your family!
