Hi there! My name is Jenn, and I have 16 years of childcare experience. Caring for children has always been my passion, and over the years I’ve completed various child care courses and classes to deepen my skills.

I’ve cared for little ones from newborn through age 14, and I make it a priority to create a loving, safe, and nurturing environment while respecting and following each family’s rules. "I’m not sure why it made me put an end date. I still utilize Jenn to this very day! She originally was referred to me by an old friend when my daughter was born in 2010. I was in nursing school so she cared for my infant child M-F for a year straight. My son was then born and she took care of both children during the day while I was at school and sometimes over night while working night shift. My children absolutely love her! She is extremely responsible, very empathetic and compassionate. She’s also really funny. It’s always a pleasure dropping off and picking up. I’m very strict and she abides by my parenting rules so my children maintain a proper routine with Jenn and at home. My kids are both now 9 and 11 and she has been the best help with homework!!!!!!!!! That’s one thing I hate and don’t want to worry about after a long day of work. She is amazing! See for yourselves! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have experience working with children of all ages, including infants at every stage of development. In school, I completed four years of Early Childhood Education, which is where I discovered my passion for childcare and knew I wanted to build a career in this field. I am CPR and First Aid certified and make sure to keep my certifications current.

I began babysitting at the age of 14, caring for children within my family and neighborhood. That early start led to a career as a nanny, and I now have 16+ years of professional experience. I continue to bring the same enthusiasm and dedication to caring for children today as I did when I first started.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I provide children with plenty of age-appropriate games, indoor and outdoor playtime, and engaging educational activities. My focus is on keeping their minds stimulated and occupied in positive ways, helping them avoid boredom and reducing the temptation to rely on phones, tablets, or other electronics for entertainment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, healthy, fun, and educational environment in the absence of parents. My role is to ensure every child is well cared for while making their safety and well-being my top priority.

My experience with special needs children...

I have (minimal) experience providing virtual coaching for individuals with special needs. I supported one client through his medical needs while he was being hospitalized during Covid using telephone, FaceTime, and Zoom sessions. He warmed up to me quickly, and I was able to successfully provide the coaching and guidance he required.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments as a nanny are watching children grow, achieve new milestones, and conquer each stage of their development. I love forming bonds with them by creating a safe and fun-filled environment, and nothing compares to seeing the excitement on their faces. Keeping children as happy as possible is one of the most important parts of the work I do.
