this isnt exactly a nanny moment but as a paraprofessional I worked with a six year old girl with a IEP which i also had during my schooling. She had processing disorder overstimulation brain was under the age of 6 etc. No please, thank you, or cleaning up at first! she would react to certain things before she got to know me I had patients and calmness and she came around and grew so much the six months I was there I learned her behavior when and where things happened and paid very close attention to detail we grew a bond and she saw safety in me it was a very good feeling to see where we started and where we ended up and that is why I work with kids they need TLC they need compassion someone to listen to grow!
