Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I started my career in childcare working as a Nanny. I worked for 7 families in WV from 2003 to 2016. I've worked for several day care centers in AZ, WV, and MD (Montessori school began in 2016 to 2019 and 2022-May 22, 2026). I've worked for adults with disabilities for about 3 years during covid. I have also worked housekeeping in personal homes and hotels. The past 5 years I've worked with broadcast communication working behind the scenes and broadcasting remotes/ commercials.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Crafts and art, building and creating, cooking, imagination play, puppets, music, math, language, writing, science, geography, history, practical life skills, outdoors, and swimming. I like incorporating both open and closed ended activities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Above all else building memories while laying a firm foundation of social, emotional and educationally skills to prepare them for an individual independent and success in school and over all life. Working as a team with the parents to help them reach their family and personal goals.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Looking back at some of my favorite moments (there are so many): crafting (making spaceship cars out of boxes and recycled materials), cooking (making "icecream" - cutting and smashing berries), swimming (diving for dinosaurs), hiking (collecting moss, sticks, and plants to build a fairy garden), digging in sand/dirt(mining for crystals and dimonds), collecting rocks in lakes/creeks/rivers (to organize by color and size, and visiting playgrounds/museum/zoos (DC we found a garden with art sculptures while strolling during naptime), riding the bus/prt to visit mommy on her lunch brakes.
