A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Jenni and I am a Children’s House (ages 3-6, Pre-K and Kindergarten) Montessori educator. I take pride in caring for children, as well as helping them reach their goals and strengthen their abilities while being an additional support system to them and their families. I am looking for a bright and loving family that’s in need of after school and weekend needs!
From caretaking children, educating (Montessori method or with school work), tidying up and anything else I could be helpful for! I am very easygoing, and would love to learn about your wants and needs. Going on walks to the park, crafting, learning about their favorite toys, bedtime routine, grocery shopping, etc!
I am CPR and First Aide Certified.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I just completed my 4th year inside a Montessori classroom! I have been working on becoming Montessori certified for the last 1 1/2 years and am months away from completing my certification. I received my bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies from Hiram College in 2022.
In my Montessori career, I have been with children ages 3-6 years old since summer 2022. I have had much experience in public and private elementary schools as an assistant teacher (At LCCAA Head Start), clinical teacher (At Nordonia Elementary), experience shadowing (At Midview West Elementary, etc. I have worked with individuals with special needs ages 16-42 at Maggie’s and More during my college years.
I have been nannying and babysitting on my days off since early high school, and find no better way to spend my time than helping support children with the trust of families.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I really enjoy living in the moment and making sure children are happy in my care. I love going on walks and are willing to whenever! I love experiencing children out in the world. I am very bubbly and will play with their toys whenever asked!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important factor of having the title “Nanny” is having a trust system with the child(ren) and family. As a teacher, older sister and auntie, I find it very explanatory to be picky with who it is you trust with your child. Children are the future and we have to give and show them the absolute best. I believe it is my purpose in life to spread kindness and adventure to children while under my care. I want the parents who have trusted and hired me to feel at ease while at work, etc. as I am taking great care of your child(ren).
