Activities that I would incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include going outdoors to places like the park , reading books , going on day trips , or just playing age appropriate activities .

The most important part about being a nanny...

My absolute favorite part of being a nanny is the ability to be an integral part of a child’s development…. The fact that I am with the child fir a significant amount of the day makes me realize I largely influence them and can impact their lives . It’s a huge responsibility, but also an honor and a privilege.

My experience with special needs children...

I became an aunt for the first time at age 10. My niece Heidi was born 4 months premature and has splastic cerebal palsy. As a young child , she had to undergo many surgeries on her legs . I can remember doing her therapy with her and alway helping her out her braces on her legs . We ha e a very special bond , and have enjoyed watching her grow up into a beautiful confident women . The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments have been caring for infants . Witnessing a baby’s first word, them learning to crawl or walk , or even making their first handprint drawing for mom or dad really makes my heart smile
