Hello! My name is Jennifer Meng, but you can call me, Jen! I live in Duluth, MN. I am currently a senior at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, majoring in Marketing and Professional Sales, and I plan to stay in Duluth after graduation. I was born and raised in the Twin Cities, MN and moved to Duluth in 2023. I am a first generation Cambodian & Chinese-American. While I am a business student, I have worked in Montessori early childhood education since I was 16. I am now 21 and (still!) currently work part-time as a Montessori Teaching Assistant while attending college full-time. I love Montessori!! I am a hardworking, fun and caring, responsible caregiver with years of paid experience in nannying, babysitting, pet sitting, housekeeping, and plant care. I love doing arts and crafts, music and reading with the kiddos!! I love taking them on local kid-friendly outings as well such as going to the zoo or aquarium, and the children’s museum! My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with multiple children with special needs in classroom settings. I believe in meeting each child where they are and adapting my approach to their individual needs, strengths, and learning style.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I quickly learned how to care for a newborn and a toddler at the same time, which was a challenge at first but ultimately an incredibly rewarding, fun, and life-changing experience. I loved working with a family in a longer-term role and truly getting to know them while helping wherever I could. I am very grateful for their flexibility, support, and the mutual respect and understanding we shared.

I am able to pet sit on weekends &/or overnights. I have experience with plant care, light house keeping, commuting (pick ups/drop offs) .. etc.
