I have a child with CHARGE Syndrome, ADHD and Autism. She also has hearing loss and very bad vision. While in and for a few yrs after I worked for The Spina Bifida Association of Western Pennsylvania. I graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2000 with a Bachelor's Degree in CPAD: Community Living Program for Americans with Disabilities. Also, my daughter has an Autistic friend that I watch when his family needs me to.

I have a sister that has down syndrome and is the autism spectrum, so i believe that i would be good with any kids. I watch my sister whenever my mother needs to go get groceries or just needs a break from the house, so i have experience with watching kids for a period of time. I go to the North Allegheny School district and i get decent grades. I took child development and i took psychology, and i personally believe that those classes helped. I love to cook and I'm good at cleaning up messes that i made. I'm not CPR or first aide certified, but i do understand the general idea of the both because of the wellness for life class i took in 9th grade.
