I am the oldest of 5 children so I grew up taking care of my younger siblings. I have worked as a volunteer teacher for 4-5 year olds and have also worked for 2 years as a middle school mentor/ tutor with Firewall Centers. I am currently working as a behavior technician focused on ABA therapy with children on the Autism spectrum.

Being able to work with a family and make their lives a little bit easier is a great feeling. Not only am I able to help the parents by providing them the support they need but also being someone that the kids look forward to seeing.
My experience with special needs children...
I currently work with children diagnosed with ASD. As a behavior technician, I work in with the child's clinician to encourage positive behaviors and redirect problem behavior. I work with clients 1-on-1 and offer them support to learn and grow communication, social, and functional skills.
