I have over five years of nannying experience caring for children of all ages, including a child with a rare intellectual disability called SYNGAP1 syndrome. This experience taught me patience, adaptability, and how to provide individualized care while creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment. I also worked as a Teacher Assistant at The Goddard School in a classroom of 2 yearolds. My responsibilities included leading circle time, planning educational activities and holiday crafts, supervising play, preparing meals and bottles, assisting with feeding, potty training, diaper changes, maintaining nap schedules, and ensuring the safety and well-being of every child. I love keeping children active, engaged, and having fun while learning. Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, painting, sensory play, reading books, puzzles, building with blocks, pretend play, music and dancing, baking simple treats, and educational games. Outdoors, I enjoy taking children to the park, going on nature walks, playing sports, riding bikes or scooters, blowing bubbles, sidewalk chalk, water play, and visiting libraries, zoos, or other kid friendly activities. I always tailor activities to each child’s age, interests, and developmental needs while following the parents’ preferences and routines. My goal is to make every day fun, safe, and enriching.

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and positive environment where children feel supported and can thrive. I strive to build trust with both children and parents while encouraging learning, independence, kindness, and confidence. Knowing I’ve made a positive impact on a child’s life is the most rewarding part of my job.

One of my favorite nanny moments was watching a child I cared for accomplish something they had been working so hard on. Seeing their confidence grow and celebrating those little milestones together reminded me why I love working with children. Being part of their growth and creating happy memories is the most rewarding part of being a nanny.
