More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked extensively with children in both professional and volunteer settings, including Rising Stars Performing Arts, Crystal Theatre, and Dance Dimensions, where I served as a dance teacher and youth instructor and mentor for students of varying ages and developmental levels. I also volunteered in children’s services at Open Door Shelter, supporting families and providing care in high need situations.
In addition to these roles, I have been a long term nanny for multiple families, including caring for infant twins and a toddler, serving as a full time nanny for an infant, and working as a long term morning nanny for a four year old. I also have many years of babysitting experience with neighborhood families and repeat clients.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I mostly love meeting kids right where they are and jumping into whatever excites them that day. Music and dance are big favorites, along with silly songs, pretend play, and imaginative games. I enjoy turning shows or videos into interactive moments by talking about what’s happening and asking questions along the way.
Getting outside for walks, playground trips, and fresh air time is always a win, and I’m a big fan of crafts, coloring, and hands on projects. My grandmother and mother are Montessori teachers and it's definitely rubbed off! My goal is always to make kids feel safe, happy, and engaged while having fun together.

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and consistent environment where children feel secure enough to explore, learn, and be themselves. Building trust with both the child and their family is essential, along with clear communication, patience, and reliability.
I believe in supporting children’s growth while respecting each family’s routines and values, and in being someone parents can truly depend on and kids feel excited to spend time with each day.

My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with children with varying learning styles and support needs in group class settings at Rising Stars Performing Arts, Crystal Theatre, and Dance Dimensions. In these environments, I focused on meeting each child where they are, providing thoughtful accommodations, and making adjustments or modifications to activities so everyone could participate successfully.
Clear communication, patience, and collaboration with families and fellow instructors have always been important to me, and I take pride in creating inclusive spaces where children feel supported, safe, and confident.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was watching a three year old I cared for finally succeed with potty training after struggling for quite some time. We had been working on it patiently together, celebrating small steps and keeping things positive, and when she did it all by herself for the first time, the look of pride on her face was unforgettable.
She earned a Hershey kiss as a reward, and it truly felt like a shared victory. Her parents were thrilled, and it reminded me how meaningful it is to support children through big developmental milestones with encouragement, consistency, and trust.
