A little bit about me

I’m Jess! I have 10+years in care giving experience. Starting with babysitting, student teaching through extra curricular activities, which led me to my first classroom setting at a daycare, summer camps, that took me to counseling at an inpatient treatment center doing behavioral training and working alongside therapists to implement treatment plans, back to an early childhood setting in a classroom, enter the pandemic- I received my CNA certification and worked to rehabilitate and care for the geriatric side of life, all to bring me back to working as an infant teacher at an early childhood education school. A lot of experience. My personality is easy-going, positive, adaptable, adventurous. I love being outdoors, playing some sport or game, spending quality time with the important people in my life, and I love being creative whatever ways I can. Discipline I like to lean towards a positive reinforcement style, and teach self regulation/appropriate reactions vs “punishment”.
