From ages of 14-17 I was a counselor at a summer program called Nuestra Alianza! This is where I realized I loved working with kiddos! The program was taught in Spanish, centered on the history, art, culture and sports of Mexico. Any child aged 5- 12 could attend. I’d be assigned groups as big as 15 kiddos at a time! I’d assist them on projects, I’d direct a plethora of activities as well as escorting them to and from various destinations on campus, I’d help in the cafeteria with meal prep and clean up once lunch was done.
