Hi there,

My name is Jess and I am searching for a guaranteed full-time nanny position. I would love to connect to see if I would be a great fit for your family.

I have over 10 years experience working with children of all ages, from teaching ESL to children in China and Spain, to coaching swim lessons. Most recently, I have nannied full-time for the last five years and truly believe I have found my calling. I have cared for infants to school-aged children and have loved watching them grow into their own person.

I love the outdoors, being creative, doing crafts, baking, traveling, and going to festivals. I am an avid adventurer and truly love to share that spirit with the children I care for.

I enjoy honing in on experiences that support the child's interests-be it a trip to the museum, the library, a music class, or sports.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I taught swim lessons back in college, from infant/parent classes to private lessons. I swam from age four through high-school competitively, and coached a swim team for children in the summer during college.

In 2019, I had the opportunity to teach online ESL to students in China. In 2021, I traveled abroad and taught ESL for a private family in Spain as an au pair for their infant and toddler.

I babysat throughout high-school and college, and have volunteered in special needs classrooms in high-school as well. My love of childcare shows even at family reunions, as I spend a lot of quality time with the younger children, playing games, sports and crafting.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Outdoor exploration, hiking, swimming (can teach), games, imaginative play, creating and building, painting/arts and crafts, sports, baking, reading/storytelling, singing songs, dance parties.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure to leave a positive impact on your charges! Working with them in such close capacity means you can make a tremendous difference in their development. I only wish to support them and encourage them to be all that they are.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for neurodivergent children with sensory issues, and ADHD/mild autism. I also am neurodivergent, so I can incorporate tools to help little ones navigate a neurotypical world.
