I’m compassionate, genuine & I love to bring out my inner child. My love for working with children stems from a challenging upbringing, which has made me especially attentive and sympathetic to children’s needs.
This passion started when I was 16, after my sister had a baby. The father bailed, so I stepped up, and I found myself captivated by my niece.
As my friends began to have babies, I adored them just as fiercely.
I take pride in the fact that all the babies I’ve cared for over the years have never cried when their parents dropped them off. It’s everything to see how comfortable they are with me, and even more easing their parents' worries. I get the anxiety, but I promise it will fade on that first day.

One of my favorite activities is arts and crafts, where I elevate the usual projects. For instance, with a child who loves Barbies, we not only play but also build realistic furniture, turning our playtime into a creative adventure. It’s rewarding to see her excitement as we create together.

Outdoors, we go on walks and adventures, soaking in nature's beauty while learning about the world. Teaching them to garden is a joy as we watch plants grow and thrive. Then we’ll turn our harvest into a meal.

Earning the trust of both the parents and the children. It’s really nice to see the walls come down as they begin to open up. It helps us form a genuine connection. When a child lets me comfort them after they fell and got hurt or just simply a bad day, it fills my heart with purpose. Caring for them in those moments is everything to me.
