Although I have no previous experience of being a nanny my favorite experience is seeing the growth and comfortability children gain over time. Earning children's trust isn't always easy, but watching them slowly open up is incredibly meaningful to me. While volunteering at my church's 4th-6th grade program, several kids would share what they were going through, in those moments, I feel the responsibility to make them felt heard, supported and safe. Being someone a child trusts is something I truly value.
