I enjoy planning activities around each child’s age and personality, whether that means reading stories, singing songs, doing arts and crafts, or getting outside for walks and playground time. With older children, I enjoy imaginative games, simple puzzles, and creative projects that give them room to explore and express themselves. The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is building trust with both the children and their parents. Children deserve to feel safe, loved, and understood, and parents should feel confident that their little ones are receiving attentive, dependable care. To me, that means being patient, learning each child’s needs and personality, maintaining consistent routines and boundaries, and communicating openly with the family. That trust creates a foundation for children to learn and grow while feeling supported.

I have experience supporting children with special needs and bring patience and flexibility to their care. I take time to understand each child’s communication style and individual needs, and I work closely with parents to follow established routines and caregiving approaches. I aim to create a calm, encouraging environment where children feel understood and included, adapting activities to their abilities while supporting their independence and celebrating their progress.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite parts of caring for babies is watching them begin to recognize me and feel comfortable in my care. A little girl I nannied would light up whenever she saw me and crawl all the way across the room to greet me. Seeing her excitement and scooping her up for a cuddle was always the sweetest start to my day. Knowing we had built that bond and that she felt safe and happy with me made those moments so special.
