A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Jill, and I am a mother of four children (young adults now) and I am a grandmother of a beautiful granddaughter and one on the way. I have been caring for my granddaughter for the first three years of her life until she could go to preschool and I am ready to start another job finally. I love kids and working with them and I’ve been running a household all of my life so I am good at it. I want to do some thing I love everyday and being with kiddos is what makes me happy. I don’t drive much, I need to say that up front. I personally know it’s not easy to leave your children to go to work or to leave your children in the care of someone that you don’t know very well and that is why I watched my granddaughter for the first three years of her life. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have an Associates degree in Psychology and I have been a volunteer for the California Coalition For the Youth as a youth counselor on the suicide prevention hotline. I also worked at a mental health hospital in charge of the children’s ward as a Mental Health Technician and as a group leader. I absolutely loved working with these kiddos and they called me mama Jill and made me beautiful pictures and wrote me beautiful notes when I left, it was very heartwarming to work there. Unfortunately, it was just too dangerous for me to continue working there.
