A little bit about me

Hi, I’m Jillian! I’m a nanny and family assistant with 16+ years of childcare experience, including 10+ years professionally supporting families in private homes. I’ve cared for newborns through early teens and bring warmth, patience, reliability, and initiative to my work.

I hold a bachelor’s degree and am CPR/AED certified for adults and children. My experience includes infant care, engaging activities, school pickups, homework help, bedtime routines, and domestic and international travel with families. I encourage curiosity and independence while respecting each family’s parenting style.

Beyond childcare, I help with laundry, organizing, errands, household restocking, children’s meals and snacks, and everyday tidying. I enjoy anticipating needs and helping busy households run smoothly.

I value clear communication and lasting relationships with families. My goal is to help children feel safe and loved while giving parents dependable support and peace of mind.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve volunteered in my church nursery for the past several years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love the outdoors! I’m a big fan of splash pads, pools and beach days. School days often include racing bikes and scooters with kids in the backyard or watching the kids show me their latest tricks(cartwheels, gymnastics, etc).

The most important part about being a nanny...

Remaining adaptable and knowing when to take a deep breath before reacting or responding.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve cared for twins with PANDAS, an older(5th grader) boy with Trisomy 13, along with several children on the autism spectrum, ADHD and sensory concerns.

The most important part about being a nanny...

A favorite nanny moment is every time I walk into the front door. I’ve been incredibly blessed to bond so well with the children I’ve cared for. Each time I walk into the door, I’m met with squeals of excitement and children running to hug me and invite me into their activity; and tell me about their day.
