I moved from Kenya to the United States when I was seven years old, and my experiences have shaped my passion for helping children and families. I enjoy working with kids because I love supporting their growth, development, and overall well-being. My most recent experience was an internship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and St. Louis Children’s Hospital, where I gained valuable experience in a healthcare setting while interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment as a nanny was seeing the children reach milestones and gain confidence in themselves. One experience that stands out was helping a child learn a new skill they had been struggling with and watching their excitement when they finally succeeded. Being able to support, encourage, and celebrate those achievements with them reminded me why I enjoy working with children. Building a strong bond with the kids and knowing I played a positive role in their growth and development was incredibly rewarding.
