My name is Joanna, I am originally from Massachusetts, I was raised with two nurses in my family ( my mother and father). Recently I lost my 15yr old daughter due to peer pressure, and as we all know peer pressure is not illegal, I did have to perform CPR on my daughter ,but her air ways were so closed it made it impossible, I raised my daughter to be humble and to also no worry or care what others thought of her, my daughter was not ever spanked or made to feel little of herself, My daughter and I both became a “Live -in-nanny” for a little boy of 18 months old and I always incorporate a schedule ( because structure is most important) I also make sure that times outs are needed and only count 3 and then bend to their level always to engage what it was they had done wrong, that also goes for the many times the child(ren) do positive things.
