More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been taking care of little children even before I became a teenager. I have 25 cousins and I am the oldest girl so my aunts and uncles put their responsibilities on me even though I was still a child because of our "culture", the oldest girl is expected to take care of the younger ones.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy non-screen time activities especially puzzles, playing nerf guns, legos, play dohs, and other interactive games that would help children with their skills. I also love going outdoors with them especially when we go to parks and bring nerf guns.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me about being a nanny/babysitter is the SAFETY of the kid/s I am taking care of and their happiness of course!

My experience with special needs children...

Ever since one of my cousins was born, I have been taking care of him, feeding him, giving him a bath, playing with him. When he was 2 years old, he was diagnosed with autism, and ever since then, I would always go with him to his speech therapist and his school where other kids who have special needs. I always prepare his lunch before going to school and I also wait for his therapy session/school to be done. After school, I would play with him because his doctor said we needed to lessen his screen time. I would also read books to him and help him pronounce words to help him with his speech.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment is when I took care of my nephew. Even though I missed a lot of days in middle school it still feels rewarding. He learned how to say ten when he was 7 months old so I would always count up to 9 and he would scream 10 at the top of his lungs.
