I have 3 autistic younger cousins and 2 siblings with social and learning disabilities, I have always taken care of. My Grandmother ran a community center program for disabled youth which I assisted in for many years.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I orchestrated a perfect pool day with my first nanny family, a group of three (7F, 10M, 13M). Knowing they'd been a bit hesitant, I carefully planned a day of activities and poolside treats to break the ice and create a memorable experience. It was incredibly rewarding to see my efforts pay off and witness their transformation from reserved to fully engaged and having a blast.
