I helped run a PE class for special needs children at my local High School. My main focus for the kids was how to learn new skills while overcoming obstacles and still having fun! I taught them sports like soccer or pickle ball and how to work together as a team.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the kids I watched loved doing hair and always begged me everytime I saw her. But, she had a hard time with hair ties and would always get it stuck in my hair. I told her if she practiced at home with them that she could try it again. Next time I saw her she had brought her own hair ties and told me she did her moms hair all weekend practicing for me! …I still had to cut the hair tie out of my hair haha
