Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked for a temp agency when I was nursing at William Floyd school district. My job title was LPN/Teachers Aid in the special education department, I worked with the children and would teach them life skill. I was also responsible for all their healthcare needs especially when we would take them out on day trips. We would take they children to the library, grocery shopping and other things that taught independence, daily living skills and how to be cost-effective.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love arts and crafts, and on certain occasions don’t mind taking my work home with me like when the kids need something made I had one client asked me to paint their children’s Halloween bag with a Batman symbol for instance, which I loved doing. I love reading together and teaching them about little things like how trees grow or whys the sky blue. I’m always coming up with small activities to do with the kids and never find it a burden to do. I enjoy crafting, and being creative as much as the kids do and i get small keepsakes which is a plus ☺️
The most important part about being a nanny...
Number 1 would be keeping/making sure the children are safe, healthy, happy and engaged. Challenge them(educationally) give them something to do besides just the phone. I enjoy arts and crafts so a lot of times I’ll do things that are hands-on and also educational.

The most important part about being a nanny...
when i’m doing an activity with the kids and they seem to really love it, and I get that feeling of wholesomeness that Goes along with being a great caregiver
