I am the mother of 6 grown children. My oldest has Down syndrome and one of my sons had a stroke at 10 so I have experience dealing with children with cognitive and physical limitations. I take care of my grandson and he is now 4. I have always loved children and had plenty of babysitting jobs as a teen.
I am an LPN and do some home care but having my daughter at home, and needing to be home at certain times makes working in a facility difficult so I keep my eyes open for opportunities such as this.
