Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I took care of my niece and nephews (ages 3-6 at the time) for an entire year, I also took care of two young children (ages 6-10) during the evenings. I have volunteered in Sunday school and Jr. church (4-5 and 2nd grade)since 2013 as well as vacation bible school for 4-5. I currently work in the Cubbies class 3-4yr olds) in the AWANA program at my church. I do have some experience helping elementary schoolers with homework.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny or sitter is that you have a deep love not only for the children's happiness but safety as well. A nanny or sitter should also ALWAYS be willing to bond as much as possible and appropriately with both the children and the parents.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with autistic children, down syndrome, and non-verbal children as well as those who are a bit slow. I am not trained in special needs…these were opportunities that showed up
