A little bit about me

I am the oldest of 9 kids and was a pastors kid so I had lots of experience of babysitting lots of kids early on in life. I enjoy spending my off time outdoors fishing and reading during the summer time and watching hockey during the winter with my husband. I have a 4 month old baby girl who I’d love to be able to keep with me while I nanny. I enjoy getting to build relationships with little ones and teaching them games and going on “adventures” to the park, shopping, movies, cooking and baking, and playing games. I work best with keeping things organized but work hard to keep it fun too. I not only want to build a relationship with the kids I work with but also with the parents.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’m the oldest of 9 kids with my youngest sibling being 6 years old. I babysat many children from when I was apart of my parents church as I am the pastors daughter, and I was hired many times to be a babysitter for families in the community I lived in. I have cared for 1 child to up to 6 kids alone.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love building relationships with children and their parents. It important that the parents can trust that their children are cared for and safe and also having fun. The kids should feel safe and cared for and have fun but also know that while I’m there with them and building that relationship that their parents have me there so they can provide for them and that I’m only a small part of their parents making sure they are having a great childhood. I’m there to not only work for them but to also be a friend!
