I have years of hands-on childcare experience caring for my sister’s children, including my 7-year-old niece and 5-year-old twin nephews, whom I’ve helped care for since they were born. I’ve spent countless hours babysitting and assisting with meals, light housekeeping, playtime, and daily routines. I enjoy coming up with fun, simple activities, especially crafts, and I love spending time outdoors whenever possible. While my experience has been with family, I’m eager to learn, adapt to each family’s routines, and provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment for every child.

I enjoy creating fun, engaging activities that keep kids entertained while encouraging creativity and learning. Indoors, I love doing crafts, coloring, building with toys, reading books, playing board games, baking simple treats, and using imagination through pretend play. Outdoors, I enjoy going to the park, playing sports or yard games, going on walks, blowing bubbles, drawing with sidewalk chalk, and spending time outside whenever the weather allows. I enjoy being active and making sure children have a safe, fun environment where they can play, learn, and be themselves.

The most important part about being a nanny is being proactive for the kids, helping them, being there for them, and getting things done.

My experience with special needs children...

I have personal experience caring for a child with special needs through helping with my younger brother, who has severe autism and cerebral palsy. He is nonverbal and requires assistance with daily care, including diaper changes and other routines. This experience has taught me patience, compassion, adaptability, and the importance of providing a safe, supportive, and understanding environment. While my experience is through family, it has given me valuable insight into caring for children with unique needs and has strengthened my ability to remain calm, attentive, and dependable.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite part of caring for children is seeing them laugh, have fun, and find joy in the little things. I love how excited they get to be included and how proud they are when they’re able to help with simple tasks. Watching their personalities grow and creating happy, meaningful moments with them is one of the most rewarding parts of childcare.
