I am a Purdue University Alumna, with a degree in Developmental and Family Science with a concentration in Child Development and a minor in Psychology. I worked at a Child Development Laboratory School as a student teacher and there I utilized my skills such as communication, adaptability, support, and creating plans. I also helped provide a variety of activities that were created to engage and challenge the diverse developmental levels and interests reflected in each classroom. I love to contribute and maintain an atmosphere of acceptance, so each child is able to develop through guidance and self discovery.
I'm also a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Working as an RBT I demonstrated creativity, leadership, and decision-making. In this role I ensure client care, follow behavior reduction protocols, report to families/caregivers, and maintain client confidentiality. I strive to focus on educational interactions all while having fun in order to keep the child engaged and happy!
