My experience prior to that family was with a family working with two little boys both in grade school. I had worked with the family seasonally during breaks in the school year along with an occasional school drop off/pick up for about almost two years.

The most important part about being a nanny is TRUST! It is so important when taking on a task to help watch and raise a child/children for a family that there is trust involved. Not only with the parents and the nanny, but with the child and nanny as well. Every child needs to feel safe with their guardian, and without trust there is nothing.

My favorite nanny moment is always at the end of the day, as I'm leaving to go home, the little ones always give a big hug or blow a kiss on my way out. The experience always makes me so excited to return and see their cute faces the next day!
