My experience with special needs children...
All throughout high school I took the elective “peer partners” which allowed me to help a certain special needs student each year , it was like having a best friend in the majority of my classes! I loved seeing the different minds of creativity and intelligence my peer partners had !
I’ve also had exsperience with a 3yr old with Down syndrome !! I loved learning the things he liked and enjoyed doing !!!
