I have 5 siblings ranging from ages 2-8yrs whom i raised due to a working and grieving mom. I also babysit my aunts 3 kids for 5 years from when they were as little as newborns to 12 years old, and my other aunt’s baby boy who is now 8 months old and got paid for the day.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some indoor activities i enjoy doing with kids is drawing, coloring, and any activities that help with their motor skills. I personally love drawing with children because it is fascinating to see what their imaginations come up with.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is helping out. Not only are we helping the family but also the child whether it is with homework, working on things they could improve with, and having fun! I think being a nanny is an equal balance of bonding with the kid aswell as helping with their growth.
My experience with special needs children...
I have not personally worked with special needs children but i would be open to learn. I think working with all kinds of children helps us grow as people but also get to help others with their needs.
