More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the opportunity to care for children of all ages, from infants to school-aged kids, in a variety of settings. I’ve worked with families I’ve known personally, as well as clients I’ve connected with independently, providing consistent and reliable care tailored to each child’s unique needs. I also have experience working in a center with children ages 2 to 6 with autism, where I applied my skills as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support their social, emotional, and developmental growth. My experience includes managing daily routines, preparing meals, helping with homework, facilitating play and learning activities, and providing individualized attention and encouragement. Through these experiences, I’ve developed a strong ability to adapt to different personalities and needs while always keeping the well-being, safety, and happiness of the children as my top priority.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love keeping children engaged and curious through a variety of fun and educational activities. From arts and crafts, painting, and DIY projects to sensory play and hands-on learning, I enjoy creating experiences that spark creativity and exploration. Outdoor adventures like nature walks, playground visits, and scavenger hunts are always a favorite, as well as imaginative play, storytelling, music, and simple cooking or baking projects. I also enjoy incorporating educational games and activities, puzzles, and social-emotional learning exercises to support children’s growth, curiosity, and confidence in a playful and engaging way.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe being a nanny is important because it goes far beyond simply watching children. It’s about supporting their growth, confidence, and sense of security during some of the most important years of their lives. Nannies play a meaningful role in helping children learn how to express themselves, build independence, and feel safe exploring the world around them. To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building trust, both with the children and their families. When children feel safe, loved, and understood, they are able to grow, learn, and thrive, and that’s something I take great pride in being part of every day.
My experience with special needs children...
I have extensive experience working with children with special needs, including those with autism, in both home and center settings. Working with children ages 2 to 6 in a center as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), I supported their social, emotional, and developmental growth using individualized, evidence-based strategies. This experience taught me patience, flexibility, and the importance of tailoring activities and routines to each child’s unique needs. I’ve learned to create a supportive and engaging environment where children feel understood, encouraged, and empowered to reach their full potential.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the most unforgettable moments in my nannying career was witnessing a little one I cared for take his first steps. I remember cheering him on as he wobbled across the living room, his face lighting up with pride and excitement. Being there for milestones like this—watching children grow, gain confidence, and discover new abilities—is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. It’s moments like these that make being a nanny truly special and remind me why I love what I do.
