I love to make elaborate crafts, play card and board games, play sports and games that allow for movement, and to engage in pretend play with kids. With my own child, I have built a functional trebuchet, a model elevator, a 15-foot cardboard millennium falcon, and miniature metal swords. My students have built an Alamo museum with games and historically accurate models, designed and tested their very own flying machines, and hosted an 1893 style World Fair complete with carnival games and a live Houdini magic show.
