Caring & loving them like your own. I will never forget my kindergarten teacher because she loved me & was always so kind to me. I always want the children that I nanny to remember me for the rest of their life. :)
My experience with special needs children...
I have had the great opportunity to care for a paraplegic child for several hours, a few times in the past. I was responsible for feeding her, playing with her, getting her in & out of her wheel chair, laying with her & making sure her chin & chest stay clean from her drool. :)
